What does UGC and short-form content actually cost?
We're not going to hand you a price list that doesn't apply to your project. Here's what actually moves the number, so you know what you're asking for.
Every generic "UGC pricing guide" ends the same way: a table of numbers that assumes a market, a currency and a scope that may have nothing to do with your actual project. Rather than give you a number that doesn't mean anything without context, here's what genuinely drives the cost up or down — so a conversation about your project starts from the right place.
What actually changes the price
- Length and complexity. A 15-second trend-led clip and a 90-second scripted testimonial are different jobs — different planning, different shoot time, different edit hours.
- One-off vs. a package. Multiple concepts and hooks from a single shoot cost less per video than the same number of videos booked separately — you're paying for planning and setup once, not repeatedly.
- Usage rights. A video meant to sit organically on your own page is a different commitment than one you intend to run as a paid ad — running creative as an ad usually costs more, because that's a different, bigger use of the work.
- Production complexity. A phone-shot testimonial and an AI-assisted conceptual ad with custom sound design are not the same scope of work, even at the same length.
- One-off vs. an ongoing retainer. A monthly stream of content is priced differently from a single project, because it's a different kind of commitment on both sides.
Why we don't publish a price list
Any number we put on this page would either be wrong for your specific project or vague enough to be useless — and we'd rather be neither. A café asking for a monthly content day is a different job from a SaaS brand asking for one scripted testimonial ad, even if both technically fall under "UGC."
What we can tell you: pricing depends on scope (how many pieces, what length, what complexity), usage (organic only, or running as a paid ad too), and whether it's a one-off or ongoing. Tell us what you're actually trying to do, and you'll get a real number for your project — not a generic tier that may not fit it.
